CultureCarney’s ‘hydronym’ moment inspires cheeky Lake Ontario awareness campaign

After Prime Minister Mark Carney used the formal term for a body of water, a London, Ont., company launched T-shirts reading “My hydronyms are Lake and Ontario.” Part of the proceeds will support Swim Drink Fish Canada, a charity that connects people with Lake Ontario and works to keep it safe and clean.
