TechAcer’s new MacBook Air rival is nearly a pound lighter

Acer announced the Swift Blade 14, a carbon-fiber laptop weighing 799g and measuring as little as 12.95mm thick. It uses Intel Wildcat Lake processors, 12GB of RAM and LCD or OLED display options, with pricing to come closer to its December launch. Acer also introduced the larger Swift Air 16, due in North America in Q1 2027.
