EconomyEurope ends summer with lowest gas inventories on record
European underground gas storage inventories fell to their lowest level since records began in 2011, TASS calculations based on Gas Infrastructure Europe data show. Net injections in August dropped 9% year on year, leaving facilities 65.39% full and raising supply risks before the heating season amid competition with Asia for LNG and high cooling demand.
