A joint Chinese-Egyptian archaeological mission has uncovered hieroglyph-inscribed limestone walls, a mud-brick residential complex and a limestone press with grape seeds at the ancient Sekhmet Temple in Mit Rahina, Giza Province. The finds shed new light on how the surrounding area was used and inhabited across successive periods of ancient Egyptian history.
