WorldChina's second batch of emergency aid arrives in Kathmandu
A Chinese Air Force Y-20 delivered a second shipment of emergency relief supplies to Kathmandu on Tuesday amid heavy rain. The cargo included drones, DNA testing equipment and reagents, water purification systems and emergency lighting, while five Chinese DNA specialists arrived to assist in affected areas. Nepal Police reported 1,068 bodies recovered and 4,606 people missing after floods and landslides.
