WorldUN slashes food aid for occupied West Bank and Gaza amid funding shortfall
The World Food Programme says funding constraints are forcing it to halve assistance in the occupied West Bank, reducing support from 400,000 people to 200,000 and cutting cash, vouchers, food and other services. Operations in Gaza are also being reduced; the agency needs $386m over six months to assist about two million food-insecure people.
