TechSu-57 fighter jet engine can withstand critical temperature of 2,000 degrees, Rostec says
Russia’s Rostec says the Su-57 fifth-generation fighter’s powerplant can withstand an internal temperature of 2,000 degrees Celsius during hovering. The company says the engine enables advanced maneuvers to evade missiles and that the aircraft has proved effective against Western-made air defense systems in combat conditions.
