TechMicroprocessor-controlled prosthetics presented at Eastern Economic Forum
A line of Russian-developed microprocessor-controlled arm and leg prosthetics was presented at the Sakhalin Region pavilion during the Eastern Economic Forum. The technology analyzes movement in real time and adjusts the mechanisms automatically. Production with annual capacity of 35,000 units is planned to begin in Tver Region this fall, while Sakhalin has launched a prosthetist training project.
