TechHong Kong to open its first robot-run retail stores

Hong Kong will open its first robot-run retail stores on Tuesday, when three Galbot Store outlets begin operations. Run by Beijing-based Galbot, the shops will be managed entirely by robots without preset programs or remote human control, selling cultural products from Hong Kong and mainland cities. The launch is the company’s first overseas deployment.
