Mixed-load public-block trains on the Chengdu southern route of the China-Europe Railway Express now run regularly, with three to four departures a month. The service crosses Kazakhstan and the Caspian Sea after leaving China through Khorgos, reaches Georgia, and links with cities including Baku and Izmir.
