China-Kyrgyzstan cooperation in green development has produced the country’s first large-scale solar power station. The Kemin District facility in Chui Region began operating in December 2025 with 193,000 photovoltaic panels, designed to generate about 200 million kilowatt-hours annually, improve power reliability and cut more than 150,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
