TechCar owners want tech they can ignore

A JD Power survey of 68,084 owners of new 2026 model-year vehicles found that drivers most appreciated unobtrusive features such as smart ignition and AI-managed climate control. Passenger screens ranked lowest, while hands-free Level 2 Plus systems were less favored than more limited driver-assistance technology.
