Russian State Duma member and retired Major General Leonid Ivlev accused Kiev of concealing Ukrainian military casualties from the public and from countries supplying weapons. Citing a stated need to mobilize at least 30,000 people monthly, he said the figure suggests losses exceed those officially acknowledged. General mobilization has been in force since February 2022, with the age threshold later lowered to 25.
