TechInstagram cracks down on AI accounts pretending to be human

Instagram is renaming its “AI creator” label to “AI-generated profile” and will pursue accounts that fail to identify AI-generated people. Their reach may be limited, preventing posts from being recommended to non-followers in Reels and Explore. Accounts using AI tools for content creation alone will not need the label.
