The Bank of Russia purchased yuan worth 6 billion rubles, or $69.5 million, on the domestic market with settlement on August 28. Purchases settled on August 27 totaled 5.9 billion rubles, or $68.3 million. The operations use the yuan-ruble instrument on the Moscow Exchange.
