Al Jazeera interviews 75-year-old Palestinian writer and lawyer Raja Shehadeh in Edinburgh, where his journals will be archived. Shehadeh began keeping a diary in 1967 and has amassed more than five million words documenting Palestine’s turbulent history. He moved the collection from Palestine after fearing it could be destroyed.
