CultureFantasy-inspired library draws crowds to Jiangxi's Wuyuan

The Western fantasy-style “Sinkhole Library” in Wuyuan County, Jiangxi, has attracted nearly 200,000 visitors since opening on Aug. 10. Designed with inspiration from Antoni Gaudí, it blends curved walls, a spiral stone staircase and whimsical lighting with a traditional Huizhou setting, while housing books on local history, intangible heritage and literature.
