US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Washington is prepared to consider every type of sanction against China over its cooperation with Iran. He plans to raise the issue with Chinese counterparts at the G20 finance ministers’ and central bank chiefs’ meeting. Bessent also said the US may impose secondary sanctions on countries that defy its tougher measures against Tehran.
