TechInside Meta’s push to put robots to work in data centers
Meta is testing robots from several vendors to plug in cables, reset servers, cycle power and replace networking cables inside its data centers, according to current and former workers. The effort could reduce reliance on human labor as AI infrastructure spending rises; one worker estimates a successful system could replace up to 80% of some workloads.
