WorldChina: Climate warming caused Nepal-Tibet mudslide disaster

Chinese government experts said last week’s Nepal-Tibet mudslide disaster was caused by glacier instability resulting from long-term climate warming. An ice-and-rock avalanche in Nepal struck the Gyirong port in Xigazê, Tibet, about six to seven minutes later. More than 750 people have died and over 3,000 are missing in the two countries.
