The Trump administration deported dozens of people to the Central African Republic, including an Afghan man whom a US judge had protected from removal to Afghanistan over fears of Taliban persecution. His family had been threatened because of relatives’ support for the US military. The flight to Bangui carried 12 Afghans and eight Iranians.
