Nepal and China quickly coordinated rescue and relief after a mudslide hit Gyirong County in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, Nepal's consul general in Lhasa said. Nepali pilgrims who crossed through Gyirong Port toward Mount Kailash were accommodated with support from both sides and will return via other crossings. The two countries are also jointly gathering information on pilgrims who entered China through the port.
