PoliticsUkraine prepares to ease residency rules for foreign fighters

Ukraine’s government approved a draft law that would count foreign and stateless nationals’ military service toward the five-year residency requirement for an immigration permit and extend their temporary residence after service from three to six months. It also proposes a special certificate for those unable to return home for passport matters. Parliament must approve the bill.
