Modders extracted DLSS 5’s Neural Rendering file from an early-access build of NBA 2K27 and are applying it to games including Control, Skyrim, GTA, and others. The unofficial effects alter facial detail, textures, lighting, and shadows, but can sharply reduce frame rates and consume more VRAM. Players are divided over the results.
