Norway’s Royal House says King Harald V has died in an Oslo hospital at the age of 89. He was hospitalized on August 17 with an infection and complications from hemolytic anemia; his condition was declared “very serious” on August 27. His 53-year-old son, Haakon, will inherit the throne.
