TechOpenAI, Anthropic join global call to strengthen cyber defences

More than 100 organisations, including OpenAI and Anthropic, urged governments and technology companies on Thursday to reinforce cyber defences against increasingly sophisticated AI-powered attacks. An open letter warned that such attacks could spread much more widely in the coming months as AI models become more capable.
