TechSK Hynix to start AI chip output in Indiana in 2029, sees memory shortage through 2030
South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix said it plans to begin volume production of next-generation HBM4E chips at its Indiana facility in the third quarter of 2029. Its CEO expects the current memory chip shortage to last through the end of 2030.
