WorldUSS Abraham Lincoln to visit Thailand after more than 250 days at sea
The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier will make a brief port call in Thailand next week while returning to the US, after more than 250 consecutive days at sea supporting US operations against Iran. Thailand’s navy called the stop routine and said it would allow the crew to rest and receive logistical support, with no exercises planned. The deployment has drawn scrutiny over reported shortages, plumbing problems, low morale and worsening mental health among sailors.
