Russian and Chinese filmmakers are developing several joint projects, including “Black Silk,” a planned sequel to the 2025 historical detective film “Red Silk,” and “Allies.” Other collaborations include “The Sword of Justice” and “The Forgotten General,” which are expected to receive wide releases in both countries. The Russian Film Festival opened in Beijing on August 27 and runs through September 2 across several Chinese cities.
