TechHugging Face’s new robot is an adorable rollerskating duck

Hugging Face’s Pollen Robotics has launched the Microduck, a one-eyed biped under 10 inches tall. The $399 robot is available for preorder, with shipping planned before Christmas 2026. Demos show it picking up objects, kicking a ball, and skating; it can react to its surroundings, follow a laser, use a game controller, learn new tricks through open-source software, and sing with an individual voice.
