WorldPhotos: More than 1,300 missing in Nepal and Tibet after deadly floods

A glacier collapse sent floodwater and mud across the Nepal-China border, killing at least 270 people and leaving more than 1,300 missing, including foreigners and pilgrims. Rescue efforts are hampered by destroyed bridges and roads. Nepal’s army has evacuated more than 100 people by helicopter, while a mudslide near Tibet’s Gyirong crossing buried roads under deep mud.
