TechEthereum staking could change fundamentally under new deposit proposal

Ethereum developers have opened an early draft to make validator deposits flexible enough for future quantum-resistant keys and to allow a later upgrade to permanently stop new BLS-format deposits. The draft remains unmerged, while credential formats and verification rules still need separate design and adoption.
