Health officials say Israeli air strikes and gunfire killed two children and at least two other Palestinians in Gaza on Monday. Medics and relatives said 10-year-old Amal Abu Khater was shot in the back while eating in her family’s tent in Khan Younis; Israel’s military said it knew of no such incident. The military also said it struck two mosques allegedly used by Hamas to store weapons. The UN said nearby strikes damaged three warehouses.
