WorldUS intelligence links explosive drone at German airport to Russia’s military intelligence

U.S. intelligence officials assessed that an explosive drone found at Leipzig/Halle airport showed features typical of equipment used by Russia’s GRU. It appeared to target a Ukrainian cargo plane carrying ammunition, but its disconnected trigger prevented an explosion. German investigators later found a third drone and explosives west of the airport.
