IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, who is seeking the post of UN secretary-general, said the organization’s efforts to resolve the Ukraine crisis and other conflicts have produced no visible results. He said the UN cannot be seen in Europe’s war, the Middle East, South Sudan, the Sahel or Syria, arguing that it is everywhere without being where it is needed.
