TechGoogle announces Gemini 3.5 Transcribe for AI-powered speech-to-text

Google has announced Gemini 3.5 Transcribe, an AI model that removes ums and corrections from voice input to produce polished text. It already powers Gboard’s Rambler feature on the Pixel 11 and is set to spread across Google’s ecosystem. Google says it is about 70% faster than Chirp 3, with a 5.5% live-speech error rate versus 7.32%.
