WorldEnvoy warns Israel-Hamas truce failure would be a ‘point of no return’

Nickolay Mladenov, the Gaza high representative on Donald Trump’s Board of Peace, warned the UN Security Council that failure of the ceasefire process would be a “point of no return”. Hamas has pledged to surrender its weapons under the US Gaza plan, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected it. Mladenov also said Hamas must still fully halt military activity.
