TechVolvo’s cars will warn one another about hazards in the road

Volvo is adding connected safety alerts to its EX90, ES90, and EX60 electric vehicles. Sensors and cameras identify large animals, pedestrians and cyclists, roadwork, and crashes, then send the hazard location through Volvo’s servers to other vehicles on the same road. The system uses Volvo fleet data rather than crowdsourced navigation reports.
