WorldWhy a Christian group is suing the Dutch government over a West Bank trade ban
Christians for Israel and its Israel Product Centre are suing the Dutch state over a planned ban on importing, buying and selling goods from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank and Golan Heights. The centre says it has too little time to clear about 20,000 bottles of settlement wine and argues the measure conflicts with EU free-movement rules. A ruling is expected in about two weeks.
