SocietyGermany: Carnivalgoers rescued after being trapped on ride

Twenty-three passengers were stranded about 25 meters above the ground when a swing carousel malfunctioned at Hamburg’s Hamburger Dom carnival. Firefighters rescued them individually over roughly 90 minutes. No one needed medical attention, but the ride will stay closed through Sunday.
