The first China-Europe Railway Express freight train to depart directly from Baoji left Shaanxi on Tuesday for Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The launch makes Baoji the province’s second logistics hub with direct rail links to Europe after Xi’an. Carrying 55 containers of locally made auto parts worth more than 7.12 million yuan, the train will travel via Alashankou to a Russian automotive plant.
