Chinese war comedy-drama Once Upon a Time in the Middle East has announced a global release after earning more than 1.6 billion yuan since its Aug. 11, 2026 debut. It will open in Hong Kong, Macao, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia on Sept. 11, then Singapore and Japan, with further releases planned across North America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
