TechNew bootloader lets the original Meta Quest break free from Meta

The QuestStack project combines known Quest 1 vulnerabilities into an exploit chain that provides full root access. After connecting the headset to a PC, users can complete the bootloader process through a web interface without downloads, enabling app sideloading without a Meta Developer account and allowing setup and login even if Meta’s supporting servers shut down.
