CultureStudy: Filming in Moscow costs three times less than in Los Angeles while maintaining high standards
A study prepared for Moscow International Film Week puts the cost of a day of filming in Moscow at about $50,000—less than in Paris and London and three times below Los Angeles. It says the city offers varied locations and production standards comparable to those in the United States. The festival runs through August 30 with more than 300 events.
