EconomyMarigold oleoresin from Southwest China's Yunnan exported globally

During the marigold harvest in Wenshan, Yunnan, refined oleoresin is being exported to Mexico, India and Thailand. The lutein-rich ingredient supports food, supplements and animal feed. Local cultivation covers about 23,000 hectares, with annual output exceeding 650 million yuan and 34,000 households benefiting. Exports reached 224 metric tons in the first seven months, up 7.7% year on year.
