UK prime minister Andy Burnham visited Kyiv on his first international trip as prime minister, attending Ukraine’s 35th independence anniversary and pledging military and diplomatic backing. Britain will provide blueprints for key Storm Shadow missile components so Ukraine can eventually produce its own version with France. Russia has threatened to destroy any Ukrainian factories making the missiles.
