EconomyNetflix, Disney+ and Amazon price rises in western Europe ‘highest in world’

Ampere research says subscribers to Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video in western Europe have faced average monthly increases of $1.86 over the past three years, more than in the US or any other region. Streaming companies have added cheaper ad-supported tiers while raising premium prices, but average increases fell from 24% in 2023-24 to 14% in 2025-26 as consumers’ willingness to pay reached its limits.
