The Adidas Azteca ball used when Diego Maradona scored his notorious ‘Hand of God’ goal against England in the 1986 World Cup has sold at auction for £2.5m. Match referee Ali Bin Nasser had kept the ball for more than three decades after collecting it at full-time.
