EconomyLarge gas field discovered in Iran
Iran has discovered a gas field in southern Fars province containing more than 212 billion cubic meters of gas, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said. With an estimated recovery rate of 73–75%, around 161 billion cubic meters could be produced. The field also contains gas condensate, and authorities are urgently preparing its development.
