Telemedan’s solar-powered kiosks allow people in rural Chad to consult doctors remotely instead of travelling long distances to larger towns. The system uses basic diagnostic equipment and mobile or satellite connections, and the initiative says it now operates 37 kiosks across 11 provinces, reaching an estimated 143,000 people.
